Drop in Anchor
Construction:
Manufactured from carbon steel
Designed with an internally threaded body and expansion cone
Knurled outer surface to increase grip inside the drilled hole
Surface finishes: Zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized, or natural stainless steel
Usage:
A hole is drilled into the concrete as per anchor size
The anchor is inserted into the hole, and a setting tool is used to expand the internal cone
This expansion secures the anchor inside the concrete, allowing bolts or threaded rods to be fastened into it
Ideal for overhead and vertical load applications
Application:
Drop-in anchors are used for fixing objects to solid base materials such as concrete ceilings, floors, and walls. Common applications include suspension of pipe hangers, cable trays, HVAC ducts, fire sprinkler systems, and other structural elements in civil, industrial, and commercial projects.
